I am a highly resilient and self-driven eLearning professional with over a decade of experience in bridging the gap between complex technology and effective pedagogy. My career is defined by a unique hybrid skill set: I am as comfortable architecting a robust Learning Management System (LMS) from the ground up as I am designing the interactive content that lives within it.
LMS Administration & Architecture: I specialize in Moodle administration, including site installation, custom theme development, and technical integration. I have successfully implemented ePortfolio systems and managed large-scale user management strategies for thousands of learners across East Africa.
Instructional Design & Multimedia: Leveraging tools like iSpring, Camtasia, and Adobe Illustrator, I develop high-quality, SCORM-compliant interactive modules. I work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to transform raw knowledge into engaging digital courseware.
Capacity Building & Leadership: I have led dozens of faculty development workshops, training university lecturers and technical staff on online pedagogy and digital competency. My leadership has been instrumental in the rollout of technology-enabled learning (TEL) policies at numerous institutions.
I hold a BSc in Computer Science from Egerton University and an MA in Monitoring and Evaluation from Maseno University. I am currently further specializing my technical expertise through an MSc in Information Technology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Learning Design and Technology.
